Disconnecting MC Series from Host Computer
Before unplugging the DirectHD cable, stop the device by following these steps.
You must stop the device before disconnecting your MC series from your
host computer.
On Windows XP Professional
1.
Click Safely Remove Hardware icon ( ) on the taskbar. If you cannot find the
icon, click

Click Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device – Drives (XX:, XX:). The Safe
To Remove Hardware dialog appears. (XX is a drive name of your MC series.)
3.
Unplug the DirectHD cable from your MC series and host computer.
On Windows 2000
1.
Click Unplug or Eject Hardware icon (

Click Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device – Drives (XX:, XX:). (XX is a
drive name of your MC series.)

Click OK; then, unplug the DirectHD cable from your MC series and host
computer.
