Observe the distance of the pyrometer to be calibrated against the background
of the black body cavity and the size of the actual target (Ø 20 mm) as specified in the
technical manual optical pyrometer.
Remember that the area targeted by the pyrometer to be calibrated must be
less than or equal to the effective target spot size of the blackbody in order to not
introduce measurement errors.
Use the certificate of calibration of the thermocouple type N to correct the
readings from the IN input of the calibrator and comparing the reading of the optical
pyrometer.
