Pruner Attachment (Optionally, Art. 84 66 10)
When using the pruner attachment please also notice the
following safety notes:
Please note the included General Safety Notes and
the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Keep the tool out of reach of children. It is not a toy.
Only use this unit according to this instruction manual and for
the intended use. The unit has not been designed for continu-
ous, professional use.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are
not allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised and
briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
Never direct the power tool towards people or animals.
Protect the unit from humidity and extreme temperatures. Do
not allow water or any other liquids to enter the unit.
Cutting accessory contacting a "live" wire may make exposed
metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator
an electric shock.
Keep hands away from the sawing range. Do not reach under
the workpiece. Contact with the saw blade can lead to injuries.
Apply the tool to the workpiece only when switched on.
Otherwise there is danger of kickback when the cutting tool
jams in the workpiece.
When sawing, the pivoting shoe must always faces against the
workpiece. The saw blade can become wedged and lead to
loss of control over the tool.
When the cut is completed, switch off the tool and then pull the
saw blade out of the cut only after it has come to a standstill.
