The outer surface temperature can become very high when the ap-
pliance is operating. Do not touch the hot surfaces and allow to cool
before handling the appliance, its detachable parts and its accessories.
The appliance must not be left unattended while it is connected to
the supply mains.
The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the water
reservoir is filled with water.
The filling, or decalcifying, or rinsing, or inspection apertures that
are under pressure, shall not be opened during use.
The iron must be used and rested on a flat, stable surface.
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which
the stand is placed is stable.
The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible
signs of damage or if it is leaking.
Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years
of age when it is energized or cooling down.

INSTALLATION

Installation, including water supply (if any) and electrical connec-
tions, and repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician. Do not
repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specifically stated in
the user manual. Keep children away from the installation site. After
unpacking the appliance, make sure that it has not been damaged du-
ring transport. In the event of problems, contact the dealer or your nea-
rest After-sales Service. Once installed, packaging waste (plastic,
styrofoam parts etc.) must be stored out of reach of children - risk of
suffocation. The appliance must be disconnected from the power sup-
ply before any installation operation - risk of electrical shock. During
installation, make sure the appliance does not damage the power cable
- risk of fire or electrical shock. Only activate the appliance when the
installation has been completed.
Do not keep flammable materials such as alcohol, petrol or aero-
sols nearby the appliance - Risk of explosion or fire.

ELECTRICAL WARNINGS

Ensure that the appliance is connected to an electrical source ha-
ving values within those specified on appliance rating label.
