rate, and the network status. Signal quality indicates how clearly the adapter can hear the associated AP.

NOTE The button combination ABCD is mapped to the Signal Strength function (0xC6) and launches the Signal
tab. See
tab to view a real-time graph of the signal quality of the MK2250 to the associated AP
The amount of beacons (uniform system packets broadcast by the AP to keep the network
synchronized) missed by the MK2250. The fewer the missed beacons the better the signal. If
the LED to the right of the graph is green the AP association is not jeopardized by an excess
of missed AP beacons. If the LED is red, consider associating with a different AP to reduce
the amount of missed beacons and improve the signal.
The number of data packets retransmitted by the MK2250. The fewer transmit retries the
stronger the signal. If the LED to the right of the graph is green the AP association is not
jeopardized. If the LED is red, consider associating with a different AP to reduce the amount
of transmit retries and improve the signal.
The Relative Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) of the signal transmitted between the AP and
MK2250. If the LED to the right of the graph is green the AP association is not jeopardized. If
the LED is red, an association with a different AP could be warranted to improve the signal.
