After connecting the power supply,
the pyrometer automatically begins
transmitting measurement data via
the serial interface.
The cycle time for the temperature
data output via the serial interface.
Describes the ratio between the
pyrometer-to-object distance and
the target spot diameter.
Brief temperature peaks will be
held for an adjustable holding time.
A measure of a material's ability to
emit energy by radiation. The
emissivity value is the ratio of en-
ergy
radiated
by a particular mate-
rial's surface to energy emitted by
an ideal radiator (black body) at the
same temperature. A pyrometer's
emissivity setting must be adjusted
for the specific material to be
measured.
The digital outputs can be used as
digital inputs
Detects infrared radiation at two
different wavelengths at the same
time. Based on that ratio, the py-
rometer calculates the temperature
value.
Detects infrared radiation at one
particular wavelength and produc-
es a temperature reading from that
measurement.
