    PULL ON THIS PART OF HAND CHAIN OF HAND CHAIN All Columbus McKinnon (CM) Series 622 Hoists are inspected and performance tested prior to shipment. If any properly maintained hoist develops a performance problem, within one year of shipment, due to a material or workmanship defect, as verified by CM, repair or replacement of the unit will be made to the original purchaser without charge.

  • Page 8 2. The latch is secured to the hook (upper and lower) by a rivet. To remove the latch, it is necessary to remove the head of the rivet by grinding or drilling.     REEVING LOAD CHAIN LOOSE A. 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 5 AND 10 TON HOISTS DEAD END Attach approximately 20”(508mm) of soft wire to the loose end of BLOCK the chain. Pass the wire over the top of the liftwheel (622-13) and LOOSE down between the liftwheel and the chain guide (622-16).
