Possible cause
Empty fuel tank
Incorrect connection of fuel system
Air entering fuel line
Deformed or damaged fuel pipe
Closed air vent on fuel tank
Clogged fuel filter, fuel pump, or carburetor
Use of improper engine oil
Use of improper gasoline
Excessive oil in mixture
Shortage of oil in mixture
Exessive supply of fuel
Poor carburetor adjustment
Spark plug other than specified
Dirt, soot, etc. on spark plugs
No spark or weak spark
Short circuit of engine stop switch
Ignition timing incorrect
Lock plate not fitted to stop switch

Insufficient cooling water flow, clogged or defective pump
