DURING OPERATION
Vari-Pitch™ Cutting Technology
Vari-Pitch™ cutting technology automatically adjusts
the cutter deck height at the rear of the mower, to
increase air fl ow when cutting longer grass.
(Refer fi g.16)

Heavy Growth

Areas of heavy growth should be mown without
collecting the clippings. Refer to Mowing without the

Grass Bag.

If collection is required, fi rst mow the area without the
grass bag, at the maximum height of cut setting. Allow
the grass clippings to dry out and then mow the area
at the maximum height of cut setting with the grass
bag fi tted. Refer to Adjusting the Cutting Height.
Reduce the height of cut and mow the area again as
necessary until the required fi nish is obtained.
To prevent damage to your lawn do not remove more
than one third of grass height in one cut.

pour out the grass clippings and shake the grass bag
vigorously to clean the airways.
(Refer fi g.19)
