About Manual Settings for the
Master and Slave V-440HDs
You can set the screen size and position of the master and slave V-
440HDs manually with the parameters "4. Screen1 X Size" to "27.
Screen6 Y Position."
* The values that can be set manually depend on the size of the final
video output.
* After making manual settings, the values for "4. Screen1 X Size" to
"27. Screen6 Y Position" are changed automatically when the value in
"2. Multi Screen Type" is changed.
* After making manual settings, changing the value in 1. HD/RGB
Output (p. 48) may, depending on the settings, result in nothing
displayed by the slave devices. If this occurs, set the "2. Multi Screen
Type" value again, then redo the manual settings.
Temporarily Switching Off the
Multi-Screen Function for the
Master and Slave Devices
To temporarily switch off the Multi Screen function for the master
and slave devices, press the MIDI button so that the button's light
goes off. Multi Screen is not operational while the MIDI button light
is off.
Differences in Screen Colors
When using the Multi Screen function, discrepancies in color
may be visible in the receiving the final output from each V-
440HD. If this occurs, use the following procedure to adjust the
final output from each V-440HD.
1.
Select "1. HD/RGB Output" (p. 48) from the menu for the
master V-440HD, then adjust the color.
2.
Select"2. HD/RGB Input" (p. 49) or "7. SD Input" (p. 51)
from the menu for the master V-440HD, then adjust the
color in each of the video inputs.
3.
Set all of the slave V-440HDs to the values set in Step 2.
4.
Select"1. HD/RGB Output" (p. 48) from the menu for the
slave V-440HDs, then match the color to that in the master
video.
