During the run-in phase, do not exceed the specified vehicle speed in the respective gear.

Loading the vehicle

Warning
Danger of accidents Total weight and axle loads influence the handling characteristic.
The total weight consists of: operational motorcycle with a full tank, rider and, if necessary, a passen-
ger with protective clothing and helmet, and, if necessary, mounted luggage.
Do not exceed the maximum permissible overall weight or the axle loads.

Danger of accidents Improper mounting of cases, tank rucksacks or other luggage impairs the han-
dling characteristics.
Luggage mounted incorrectly can slip while the vehicle is in motion.
Mount and secure all luggage according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Check that your luggage is fixed properly at regular intervals.
