Viewing known Bluetooth devices
You can view a list of the Bluetooth devices that are paired with the EXPLORER 500. The devices
are listed with their Bluetooth names.
The devices in this list can communicate with the EXPLORER 500 without any further setup.
To view the list of known Bluetooth devices, select
PROPERTIES > BLUETOOTH DEVICES.
To see details on a specific Bluetooth device, select the device in the list and press OK.
Viewing the GPS status
The display can show the current GPS status.
To view the GPS status, select PROPERTIES > GPS STATUS.
The GPS status screen can vary, depending on the situation.
If the GPS position has not yet been obtained, the
display shows the status of each of the 16 GPS
satellites as follows:
If the GPS position is known, the display shows
the GPS position, and whether it is a 2-
dimensional or 3-dimensional position (2D fix or
3D fix).
In some cases, the BGAN network does not allow
the position to be displayed to the user. If this is
the case, the display may just show GPS
ACQUIRED. This means that the GPS position is
received, but the user is not allowed to see it.
This also applies if the EXPLORER 500 is not yet
registered on the BGAN network, but the GPS
position is received.
