Chapter 6: Maintenance and troubleshooting
Explanation
The Ethernet interface on
the EXPLORER 500 cannot
be used.
Power on/off, charging
and/or LED control may be
out of function.
The GPS module is out of
function. The
EXPLORER 500 cannot
obtain a valid GPS position.
Low ambient temperature
is causing the performance
of the EXPLORER 500 to be
degraded or halted.
High ambient temperature
is causing the performance
of the EXPLORER 500 to be
degraded or halted.
The battery is running out
of power.
The GPS receiver has not
yet achieved position fix.
Remedy
Contact your distributor.

a warmer location.

pointing straight upwards,
with a clear view to as
much of the sky as
possible.
Note that in some cases it
may take up to 10 minutes
to obtain GPS fix.
