2. Safety
"A" The limit of stability of the catamaran is reached with a slight heel.
"A" For your first sea trip, it is advised to sail with a shorter sail.
"A" Be careful when you decide to change tack.
"A" Running free/by the lee it is preferable to open the traveller rather than
the mainsail sheet to avoid chafing on the leeward shroud, particularly
for long tacks with high winds.
"A" Under sail, the engine should be out of gear or in forward gear. Never
leave it in reverse gear.
