On entering harbour:
The engines are stopped by pulling the "engine off" tab and switching
off the ignition. This must always be done in the given order, never the
reverse order.
Switch off all electrical installations.
Turn off all gas feed valves (on tank and on equipment).
Check that there is no water in the bilges.
2. Safety

Check that the load taken on board does not exceed the authorized
maximum load.
Warning: The weight of optional material should be subtracted from the
maximum load (see Characteristics).

Also check that the load taken on board is distributed in such a way as
to avoid any extra strain on the craft structure. For example, avoid
overloading the bow, or loading one hull more than the other.

Never activate the starter for more than about ten seconds for starting
the engine, as this could cause water influx which would fill the exhaust
and damage the engine.

Contact the shipping forecast services before setting out to sea.
Make sure that everyone on board knows the position and operating
principles of safety equipment.
Take food and water on board, even for a short trip.
Check that the maritime maps are up to date.
Keep the logbook up to date.
