1. Operation
Carefully read the user manuals in order to learn how to utilize the fire
protection equipment.
In case of fire, the extinguishers will be placed and identified as per
the fire plan No. ATH.EM.15.
In case of fire in the engine compartment, an opening located and
identified in the aft cabin (under the mattress) is designed to accept the
nozzle of the extinguisher located nearby (plan No.STD.EM.1).
Identify the escape routes on fire plan No. ATH.EM.15.
2. Upkeep
Control and replace, when necessary, the fire extinguishers in
compliance with the maintenance handbooks.
Be careful to keep the bilges clean and make sure that there are no
fuel or gas fumes.
If it is necessary to replace fire extinguishers, only use similar
elements with the same designation or having the same technical
capacities and fire resistance.
