Switch on the refrigerator function on the 12 V electric panel (chart
table).
Adjust the thermostat to the required temperature (in the cold store).
Check that the compressor cooling water is flowing out of the hull duct
(under the platform).
Check that the yellow light (if operating by the engine) or the green
light (if operating from the dockside plug) is lit on the inverter.
d. Important remarks
1. The 12 V DC network must operate even if the cold system is
supplied with 220 V AC.
2. After careening or drying out, the water will be emptied from the
cooling pump.
When you activate the fridge system, the safety lock protecting the
compressor against a rise in temperature will lock.
Before restarting the system, apply the following procedure:
- Wait 3 to 4 min. after the system has been made safe.
- Restart the system by pressing the pushbutton using a non-
metallic pointed object.
This procedure should be repeated until the pump which feeds the
cooling system has been reactivated.
3. The system is fitted with a certain number of safety locks. It stops
automatically when:
- the voltage supplied by the batteries drops below 12.8 V.
- the voltage supplied by the batteries rises above 13.8 V.
- there is an electrical fault.
- the temperature of the cooling system of the compressor is
too high.
- There is a pressure fault in the refrigerator system.
For further details regarding the installation refer to the user's
handbook.
