Your vehicle's features may be considerably different

The lower anchors of LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for
CHildren) or UAS (Universal Anchorage System) is a universal
system for installing child restraints without using vehicle seat
belts.
The lower anchor/UAS can ONLY be used in vehicles that have the
lower anchor/UAS bars installed in designated seating positions.
Most vehicles manufactured after September 2002 are equipped
with lower anchor/UAS bars.
Check your vehicle owner's manual to see which seating positions
may be equipped with LATCH: lower anchor/UAS bars.
WARNINGS
Do not use both the lower anchor/UAS belt and vehicle belt at
the same time.
When used correctly the lower anchor/UAS belt or vehicle
belts are equally safe.

Storage Location
To Remove Lower Anchor/UAS Belt from Storage
Location on Car Seat:
1. Lift up the front of the car seat pad.
2. Press the red release button on each connector, then pull the
connectors off of storage attachments.
To Remove Lower Anchor/
UAS Belt from Vehicle Lower
Anchor/UAS Bars:
Press the red release button on each
connector, then pull the connectors out
of the vehicle seat bight.
To Store Lower Anchor/
UAS Belt:
When using vehicle belts, using the
booster seat mode, or when the car
seat is not installed in a vehicle,
the lower anchor/UAS belt must be
properly stored in its storage location.
Attach the connectors to the bars in
the openings in the shell as shown.
Gently tighten to remove slack.
