Adjusting the throttle cable

FR 2216 M 4x4, FR 2216 A 4x4,

FR2218 A 4x4
The throttle cable may need to be adjusted, if
the engine does not respond as it should
when accelerating, if it produces black smoke
or maximum revs are not reached.
1. Loosen the clamping screw (by the
arrow), and slide the throttle to the choke
position.
2. Pull the throttle wire's casing as far as
possible to the right and check that the
choke is fully actuated.
3. Tighten the clamping screw.
4. Pull back the throttle to the full throttle
position and check that the choke is no
longer actuated.
