Fitting the Briggs & Stratton engine
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Hold the bolts so that the poles are not put
under strain.
1.
Lower the engine into place and tighten
the engine fixtures (two on each side of
the engine) with a torque of (20–25 Nm/
14–18 lbft). Connect the negative cable
as shown in the figure.
2.
Fit the belt pulley with tool, part number
506 79 06–01, and tighten with a torque
of (70–80 Nm/50–56 lbft). Use tool, part
number 506 89 92–01, to counterhold.
Place both belts in place on the belt
pulley.
