TIDAL CONNECT AND SPOTIFY CONNECT
The Connect feature of these services allows the use of the TIDAL or Spotify Native app (not the Cary Streamer 2.0 app) to
play music directly to the DMS-800PV. This connection is a direct connection to the service's servers for the same audio
quality as when using the Cary Streamer 2.0 app or the DMS-800PV user interface. Your phone acts strictly as a remote
control with no signal being routed through the phone. One great advantage is that it keeps you in the service's own
ecosystem with access to all the service's features, creating a much richer user experience.
TIDAL Connect
1.
Open TIDAL app, or select TIDAL Connect from
Cary Streamer 2.0 app.

Play a song and tap on the "Now Playing" bar.
3.
Tap on the device selector at the top right.
4.
Choose your DMS TIDAL Connect device. Look for
the icon as shown below.
Spotify Connect
1. Open Spotify app, or select Spotify Connect from
Cary Streamer 2.0 app.
2. Play a song and tap on the "Now Playing" bar.
3. Tap on the device selector on the "Now Playing"
bar or in the "Now Playing" full screen.
4. Choose your DMS Spotify device. Look for the icon
as shown below.
