WIRELESS (WI-FI) SETUP
IF YOU ARE CONNECTING THE DMS WITH WI-FI,
have an active wireless home network and router installed in your home. The quality and stability of the audio signal
depend on the bandwidth and range of your Wi-Fi router. This is especially true for exceptionally high-resolution files, such
as DSD files or PCM files greater than 192kHz. When possible, a wired (Ethernet) connection is preferred.
WIFI SETUP USING STREAMER 2.0 APP
Before proceeding, have the Cary Audio Streamer 2.0 app downloaded to your phone but NOT opened.
1.
Place the DMS-800PV anywhere within the router's Wi-Fi range. Make sure BOTH Wi-Fi antennas are connected.
(Do NOT connect the Ethernet cable).

Turn on the DMS-800PV. If the below screen does not appear, press the Network input source on IR handheld
remote.

Use the IR handheld remote to select "Connect to Wi-Fi with App."

Once selected or if no action is taken within 30 seconds, the DMS-800PV will open a Wi-Fi Hotspot called "DMS-
Wi-Fi.

Open your phone Wi-Fi setup Menu and connect to DMS Wi-Fi.

Once connected to DMS Wi-Fi, open the Cary Audio Streamer 2.0 app, select Hotspot Setup at the bottom of the
screen, and continue.
7.
Select or Enter your Wi-Fi SSID (the name of your Wi-Fi), then enter your Wi-Fi Password and select Connect.
8.
Once you see the DMS screen say, "Hotspot disconnecting," and the DMS shows the network status screen, select
Done on the phone app.
DO NOT CONNECT THE ETHERNET CABLE
