What is the Crystalio II?
The Action! model three 1080, and in the future, the cineo3+ 1080, as well
as the F3+ 1080, will be delivered standard with, or have as an option, the
Crystalio II external video processor.
The Crystalio II is, as the expression "video processor" says, just that. What
we want to discuss is what that means in practice, and how you may refer
to, or hear the Crystalio II video processor being referred to from customers.
Practically, the Crystalio II may be referred to with a number of names;
• Scaler.
• Video processor.
• External front end.

• Video switcher.

• Deinterlacer.
• Line doubler or Line quadrupler

Each one of these items or names actually refer to the same product, but
HDMI to DVI
are used by different people in different markets, but everyone has more or
less the same understanding of what they are talking about. Expect to come
across the terms as you speak with different people and markets.
