In com- bination with the Action! model three 1080, for instance, the entire front end has been moved out of the projector cabinet to the external processor. This means that a large part of all signal processing and managment takes place in the Crystalio II.

This will be the same whether the input is standard TV or DVD signals at 480i or 576i (NTSC or PAL), or whether the input is High Definition, 1080i or 720p. - Page 5 Custom made for projectiondesign is the control interface between the Crystalio II and the projector. Connecting the two via RS232 allows use of a single remote control and menu system to operate both units, and control every setting on both.
