Monitoring the VIU-323

You can monitor the VIU-323 using the Diagnostics utility. The Diagnostics utility is a
series of menus that allow you to view information about:
! VIU-323 ports configuration.
! Connected terminals.
! Ongoing call status.
! Software version.

Accessing the Diagnostic Menus

The Diagnostic Menus are accessed through terminal emulator software running on a PC
connected to the VIU-323's console (serial) port. You can connect the PC directly to the
VIU-323's console port, or indirectly via a modem. For information, see "Connecting to the
Console Port" in Chapter 3, "Installing the VIU-323."
