Power-Supply Selection Header
The operating power (VDD) of the evaluation MCU can be changed to supply from the emulator or external
power, and to 5 V or 3.3 V with the use of a header (J17). Only change the jumper setting of J17 while power
is not being supplied.
1-2 of J17 being short-circuit selects a 5-V power supply. This is the default setting as shipped (Figure

5-5).
2-3 of J17 being short-circuit selects a 3.3-V power supply (Figure 5-6).

J17 being open-circuit selects supply from the emulator or external power. (Figure 5-7).
