Hold
When a call is placed on hold, any parallel phone that tries to use the same phone line will take the call off hold and pick the call.
To place a call on hold:
1. During a call, press HOLD on the telephone base to place that call on hold. The HOLD key flashes when the call is placed
on hold.
/SPEAKER, HOLD or lift the handset from the telephone base cradle.
2. To release the call from hold, press

You can connect your modem or fax machine to the telephone line through the DATA port.
