IMPORTANT NOTICE BEFORE THE INSTALLATION / INSTALLATION Before installing this fixture check its weight on the product label and the weight of each accessory you are adding and make sure the structure you are installing it to withstands the total weight of all the fixtures being fitted. The mounting stirrup rotates around the body of the luminaire and is designed to allow the spotlight to be suspended from above using a C‐clamp or similar, or supported on a stand or bracket from below. The stirrup is fitted with a Ø12mm clear hole for the attachment of a hook clamp or a stand pivot. CAUTION DO NOT TURN THE LUMINAIRE UPSIDE‐DOWN BUT ALWAYS TURN THE STIRRUP IF YOU NEED TO MOUNT IT ON A STAND OR BRACKET If not supplied choose a suitable clamp and make sure it is correctly fixed and strongly tightened to the stirrup according to the clamp’s manufacturer’s instructions If not supplied choose a suitable safety cable or bond. Clamp it to the eyelet provided on the upper rear part of the luminaire (see picture here below), run it twice around the stirrup and the structure the luminaire is hung to so as to bond them together and close the loop. When tilting the unit make sure the knob blocking the stirrup is strongly tightened and that the luminaire can hold the desired tilt angle 4. MECHANICAL OPERATION Focus control: is located on the front and rear end of the product. Turn the knob clockwise to narrow the beam (SPOT). Turn the knob anticlockwise to widen the beam (FLOOD). WIRING Before being connected to the mains power, this unit may need to be wired with a suitable plug if not already installed. Make sure the plug you are using is rated for the proper power load and it conforms to the relevant local electrical standards Make sure the plug you are fitting withstands the lamp power load. This fixture must be grounded To perform a correct wiring, please note that the cores in this mains lead are colour‐coded as follows: Ground: green+yellow – Neutral: blue ‐ Phase: brown In case the colours of the wires do not correspond to the colour of the connection points on your plug, please proceed as follows: The green or green and yellow wire must be connected to the connection point marked with the letter E or with the symbol or coloured in green or in green‐yellow ... -

The lamp‐tray will hinge downwards remove the lamp‐holder support plate from its seat by slackening its fixing screw. reposition the plate in the lower cut and re‐tighten the screw to fix it in place. 8. INSTALLATION OR REPLACEMENT OF THE LAMP Apart from what indicated here below please always refer to the instruction given by the manufacturer of the lamp you have chosen make sure the unit is cold and disconnected from the mains carefully open the lamp‐tray by turning (anti‐clockwise) the ¼ turn fastener. The lamp‐tray will hinge downwards if replacing a lamp use a proper thermal protection for your hands (ex. gloves) in case the lamp is still hot protect the lamp from abrasion and scratches. Do not install or use cracked or broken lamps. In case a lamp cracks or breaks, disconnect from power supply, allow the unit to cool and remove/replace the broken lamp do not touch the lamp bulb with bare hands. Oil and grease can contaminate the quartz surface and reduce the lamp performance and life do not remove the plastic protection around the lamp until after having installed the lamp open the lamp‐tray by turning (anti‐clockwise) the ¼ turn fastener. ATTENZIONE: le parabole riflettenti devono essere considerate come parti di consume, la cui durata dipende esclusivamente da come e dove l’illuminatore viene utilizzato. Il calore generato dalla lampada causa un progressivo assottigliamento dell’alluminatura che ricopre il lato concavo della parabola, causando contemporaneamente la riduzione della resa ottica il surriscaldamento dei componenti elettrici dislocati sul retro dell’illuminatore. Controllate quindi regolarmente lo stato della parabola e procedete all sua sostituzione ogni volta che l’alluminatura risulti disomogena, macchiata od assente 10.
