Switching to Mute During a Call

You can consult with other people in the room without
the person on the other end of the line hearing what is
said.
Prerequisite:You are conducting a call. The function
key "Mute" is configured, see
Activating the Mute Function
Press the Mute key. The LED lights up, the microphone
on the handset is deactivated.
Deactivating the Mute Function
Press the Mute key. The LED goes out, the microphone
on the handset is reactivated.

Ending a Call

Replace the handset.

Press the Quit key, if this key is configured (
The call is cleared down.

Call Pickup to a Line Key

Prerequisite: A line key with a separate telephone
number is configured on your telephone (consult the ad-
ministrator).
The telephone rings. The LED for the line key blinks rap-
idly.
