General precautions

• If necessary, use the protection device (not included in the supply) to disconnect the power to the unit.
• The machine must be kept within the following temperature limits (wider limits are possible but must be requested at the ordering stage):
R134a / R1234ze / R513A
T min (°C)
T max (°C)
• Prevent the fluids in contact with the heat exchangers from exceeding the temperature ranges indicated above and from freezing, even when the unit
is turned off.
• When there is a hydraulic circuit, do not use fluids other than water or mixtures of water and ethylene/propylene glycol at the maximum concentration
allowed for the components installed.
The unit may only be used for the purpose it was designed for. Any other use may be dangerous and will void the warranty.
Carrying out maintenance on the product can be dangerous. In the event of a fault or malfunctioning, please contact an authorised assistance centre.
During the installation, the temperature of the fluid entering the unit must be kept stable and within the prescribed limits. Attention must be paid when:
-
Any external heat exchanging and control equipment (dry coolers, cooling towers, zone valves, etc.).
-
Sizing the mass of fluid circulating through the system (particularly when parts of the system are excluded).
-
Installing the recirculation systems, to ensure the necessary fluid flow rate to keep the machine temperatures within the permissible limits.
• Always keep the protective packaging of the machine out of the reach of children. The packaging may cause suffocation.
In units with compressors in parallel, do not disable the individual compressors for long periods of time. Always prefer the "Demand Limit" function.

Environmental information

The cooling circuit contains fluorinated greenhouse gas covered by the Kyoto Protocol. The units may only be serviced and disposed of by qualified
technicians.
The fluorinated greenhouse gases contained in the cooling circuit must not be disposed of in the atmosphere.
In order to avoid environmental hazards, make sure that any leaking fluid is collected in suitable devices in accordance with local regulations.
