Removing the packaging

When removing the packaging, the operator must use personal protective equipment
(gloves, safety goggles, etc.). The following are located inside the compressor compartment:
• water filter;
• condensate drainage connection (MEHP-iB 07-15);
• base cap (MEHP-iB 07-015).
Take special care not to damage the unit.
Follow the local regulations in force for the disposal of the packaging via specialised collection or
recycling centres.
It is forbidden to disperse packaging parts in the environment, or to leave them within the reach of
children as a potential source of danger.

Handling without packaging

If the unit is without packaging:
• Remove the wooden base.
• Fit the vibration-damping feet (accessory).
• Handle the unit with equipment suitable for the weight of the unit (forklift truck or crane), in compliance with the
safety regulations in force (as amended).
• Do not drag the unit. The feet might get damaged or break.
Correct storage of units with R32 refrigerant
Air source heat pumps with R32 refrigerant must be stored outdoors.
Storage must be in accordance with the applicable regulations, local laws and building codes requirements:

Obligation to read
Before any operation, read the installation, operation and maintenance manual and the circuit diagram carefully. Keep
both documents with care.
The installation manual and circuit diagram are an integral part of the appliance and should therefore be read and
stored carefully.
The storage temperature must not be higher than 60 °C.
