4 UNIT WARRANTY

4.1

Warranty terms

The warranty terms can be found in the general sales conditions of Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & IT Cooling System S.p.A attached to the order
confirmation of the product. The unit may only be used for the purpose it was designed for. Any other use may be dangerous and will void the warranty.
4.2

Receipt of the unit

The product is tested before shipment, and its configuration is checked to ensure that it meets the order requirements.
When the unit is received the client must check that there is no evident damage and no parts are missing.
In case of damage or missing components, upon receipt of the goods a complaint must be issued with the freight forwarder for damage or missing
delivery, indicating the problem on the delivery documents and accepting the goods with reserve. If the damage is conspicuous, a photographic record
must also be forwarded.
4.3

Alarm reset

The appearance of any types of alarms must be reported promptly to a technician.
In the event of an alarm, proceed as follows:
Check the cause of fault;
Eliminate the cause of the fault;
Reset the alarm.
4.4

Service life

In normal operating conditions, the unit is expected to have a lifetime of at least 10 years if properly serviced (as described in the "maintenance" section).
After that period, the unit should be overhauled by technicians authorised by MEHITS.

Performing repeated resets without eliminating the cause of the fault may lead to product failure not covered by the
warranty.
Alarms and resets are logged by the machine controller.
