Available functionality
On-line mode

From the operator control panel you can put the Writer on-line or
off-line. The following sections describe these modes and the
functions available in both modes.
When you are on-line, the on-line icon will appear in the upper-
right-hand corner. On-line mode primarily allows control of the
Writer via the host. Operator control panel functionality is limited.
You can:
• View and clear messages
• Check the film remaining
• Put the Writer off-line
NOTE: If the Writer is writing images to film, you will not be able to
take it off-line.
Any other functions, such as advancing film, can only be
performed in the off-line mode.
