Loading cassette(s)
into the Writer

A cassette can be loaded into either the upper or lower slot of the
Writer, or both. When two cassettes are loaded, images are
written simultaneously to both rolls providing an instant duplicate.
NOTE: If the cassette you are loading into the Writer is a new
cassette or a cassette that has had a dead battery for a
long period of time, you will have to update the cassette
memory. See the section entitled, "Updating the cassette
memory", later in this chapter.
Drive release lever
Drive Release
1. Place the Writer in the off-line mode.
2. Open the cassette access door.
3. Swing the drive release lever (green handle) out.
4. Insert the cassette(s).
NOTE: Refer to the label on the inside of the cassette
access door for cassette orientation. The display
window on the cassette is oriented differently depending
upon the slot being used.
4. Swing the drive release lever back into place.
5. Close the cassette access door.
