Before first Use

Remove the hedge trimmer and the accessory from the packaging.
Dispose of packaging materials out of reach of small children. There is
risk of suffocation!

Assembling

For optimal transport the hedge
trimmer is supplied folded and
partly assembled.
Assemble the unit as follows:
1. Depress the release button
PUSH (8) and pivot the motor
housing until it locks audibly in
the horizontal position.
2. Now mount the handle (4) and the hand protection (6) on the motor
housing. Fasten the handle with four screws and the hand protec-
tion with the remaining two screws.
