The Standby Button
Pressing the STANDBY button once will
place the upper cook surface in the "cook"
position and will initiate the cook cycle.
Whenever the grill is idle and product is not
being cooked, the upper platen must be
placed in the STANDBY position. This
feature maintains grill temperatures and
conserves energy. Pressing the button
twice (within five seconds) will place the
upper cook surface in the "standby"
position.
Note: The grill cannot be placed into the
STANDBY position while the message
"TOO COOL" is displayed.
