Use of Remote Control Coils with Magstim 200²
1.
When the coil is connected to the stimulator and ready to use, remove the coil from the coil holder
of the right hand side of the stimulator*. The coil will show the output power of the system on the
multi-function display*.
2.
Use the up and down buttons* on the remote control coil to adjust the power to the desired level.
3.
Use one of the multi-function buttons* to charge the system by engaging the button and holding it
for two seconds. The coil's ready indicator* will illuminate when the system has charged to the
correct level and is ready to deliver the stimulus.
4.
Position the coil over the desired target; Figure 6.3 (90mm) and 6.4 (D70) shows the peak
stimulation points of each coil.
5.
Engage both multi-function buttons* at the same time to trigger the stimulator and deliver the
stimulus.
A clicking noise should be heard from both the remote control coil and the stimulator.
