To install the component:
Power down the server blade (on page 16).
1.
Remove the server blade (on page 17).
2.
Remove the access panel (on page 17).
3.
Align the FC mezzanine with the FC connectors.
4.
Install the FC mezzanine. Press down above the connectors to seat the board.
5.
Install the access panel.

If connecting to a SAN, install one of the interconnect device options. See the interconnect device

option documentation.
The procedure for installing an FC mezzanine is identical on the primary and secondary system boards.
To identify the location of the FC connectors, refer to "System board components (on page 10)."

NIC mezzanine option

Power down the server blade (on page 16).
1.
Remove the server blade (on page 17).
2.
Remove the access panel (on page 17).
3.
Align the NIC mezzanine with the NIC mezzanine connector.
