These instructions only apply to the retrofitting of the dose meter to an ARCADIS Avantic
system.

To avoid light to severe, possibly fatal, injuries and material dam-
age:
The product-specific safety information in the system
manual as well as the safety information in the ARTD,
part 2, must be observed.
After all work has been completed and all covers have
been attached, perform the protective conductor test
according to ARTD-002.731.17. The protective conductor
resistance may not exceed 0.2 Ohms.
Checks and settings that need to be performed under
X-ray radiation are identified by the radiation symbol
x . Radiation protective clothing must be worn while
performing procedures marked with this symbol.
