Check the patient and provide any necessary
clinical care.
Change the alarm limit if it is no longer clinically
appropriate.

heart rate (the top displayed lead) – make sure
that the QRS amplitude on this lead is at least
0.5 mV.

importance of good skin preparation techniques.
