This section describes the soft counters, MEAP counters, and toner bottle

counters.

Soft Counters

The imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C357iF Series machines use soft
counters to track their functional copy use. The control panel displays up
to eight counters on the Counter Status Check screen (when the
Counter Check key on the control panel is pressed). By default, the
imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C357iF Series machines display 4 out of
8 counters on the Counter Status Check screen.
The table below indicates the default counter configurations of the
imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C357iF Series machines displayed on
the Counter Status Check screen. For more information on the soft
counter configurations, see the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C357iF
Series Service Manual. Specifically, refer to the Service Mode section of
the Service Manual that covers the setting under COPIER > OPTION >
USER.

Counter
The displayed counters can be changed, enabled, or disabled in the
Service Mode, except for Counter 1. Counter 1 cannot be changed
under any circumstances.
Since the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C357iF Series does not
support 11" x 17" paper, you cannot use a double-click charge scheme.
