Input Drive and Step-up Belt Tension Adjustment

About

This procedure provides instruction to tension and align the Input Drive and Step-up belts to
specification. The Drive Belt alignment and tension should be verified anytime the Drive or
Step-up belt is replaced or when there are any belt related operational or visual issues, such
as, unusual noises, slippage, frayed belts, etc.
Sonic Belt Tension Adjustment
The Drive belt tension will be adjusted first by adjusting the position of the Drive pulley and
then the Step-up belt will be tensioned sonically in terms of belt vibration frequency
using the "Gates Carbon Drive™" mobile app.
