4.4 Customizing Your Phone

Tap Menu, Options, and then the Phone, Services, Network, or Others tabs to modify
the relevant service setup. Note that the setup values you can change here depend on the
services provided by your telephone company.
♦ Tap the Others tab.
♦ Tap Menu Options, and then the Phone tab.
1. GPRS Setting: You can set the
option for GPRS connection.
2. Broadcast Channels: If your telephone
company provides this service, you can
activate it.
3. Band: You can set the band for different
regions.
1. You can set the ring type as ring, vibration or
mute.
2. If you want to use a customized ring tone file,
use the ActiveSync program, on your desktop
computer to copy the .wav, .mid, or .mp3 ring
tone file to the /Windows/Rings folder on the
GPS Phone 600. You can then select this ring
tone from the Ring tone list.
3. Set the key sound for dialing.
4. You can set a PIN (Personal Identity Number)
to block unauthorized access to your phone.
Your first PIN is provided by your phone
service provider.
