2-1. Multimedia system initial setup
Registering a driver
Register a driver for the main user as the initial setup for the multimedia
system.
By registering a driver, you can save some multimedia, and various other
settings as the my settings for each driver. You can drive the vehicle with-
out having to change the settings of other drivers in the case that multiple
drivers, such as your friends and family, drive the vehicle.
You can drive the vehicle in guest mode if you do not want to use the my
settings.
My settings
Multimedia settings, and other vehicle settings for each driver can be saved
and the applicable driver can load them when driving the car.

Up to three my settings can be registered.

The volume, navigation system, audio, etc. some multimedia and vehicle
settings can be saved in the my settings.
●
Settings are automatically saved to the current my settings when they
are changed.
●
Search history, individual settings, and other private information can be
protected by setting up the my settings.
●
By registering a device to identify the driver, my settings will be automati-
cally loaded. You can select a smart key and smartphone as the device
to be registered.

Linking to a Toyota account

An active Toyota account is required to use the my settings.

If your Toyota account is linked to the Toyota app, my settings can be
downloaded from the cloud when driving any vehicle which has a valid
Toyota Link service contract and equipped with the same model of multi-
media system.

Registered my settings can be reviewed and changed on the Toyota app.
●
The driver who is registered as the owner can delete all drivers regis-
tered in the vehicle. Drivers who are not the vehicle owner cannot delete
the owner's my settings.
●
The same my settings cannot be used in another vehicle at the same
time.
This function is not available in some countries or areas.
