the screen may change.

The camera uses a special lens. The distances between objects and pedes-
trians that appear in the image displayed on the screen will differ from the
actual distances.
Screen description
The rear view monitor system screen will be displayed if the shift lever is
shifted to the "R" position while the power switch is in ON.
Vehicle width guide line
A
Displays a guide path when the vehicle is being backed straight up.
The displayed width is wider than the actual vehicle width.
B
RCTA (Rear Crossing Traffic Alert)
When the rear radar detects that a vehicle is approaching from the rear, an
indicator is displayed on the screen. (For details about RCTA (Rear Crossing
Traffic Alert), see the "Owner's manual"
Distance guide line
C
Shows distance behind the vehicle.
Displays a point approximately 0.5 m (1.5 ft.) (red) from the edge of the bumper.
Vehicle center guide line
D
This line indicates the estimated vehicle center on the ground.
Toyota parking assist-sensor/RCTA (Rear Crossing Traffic Alert) mute

Temporarily mutes the Toyota parking assist-sensor and RCTA (Rear Crossing
Traffic Alert) buzzer sounds. Operating the shift lever automatically cancels
mute.
Distance guide line
F
Shows distance behind the vehicle.
Displays a point approximately 1 m (3 ft.) (blue) from the edge of the bumper.
