17 Modifications for Philips external control module
Reason
Due to its high signal bandwidth, the flat-panel display does not work on an external
control module. The cause is the cable, where the video lines are not shielded
separately. The edges of the keyboard scanning signals have a capacitive effect on
the video lines (crosstalk).
Remedy
Cut the lines marked with " ** " in the 37-pin D-sub connector
(on the control teletext side)
Install a separate video cable directly from the video connector of the control
teletext module to the monitor
