To Replace a Terminal Server
1. Set the replacement terminal server on a workbench.
2. Using a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver, replace the two screws securing each front and
back mounting bracket to the terminal server (
3. From the front of the rack (
a. Position the terminal server into the rack, making sure that the mounting plate
back mounting screws are properly positioned into the terminal server back
mounting brackets.
b. Align the terminal server front mounting brackets with the mounting plate
front mounting screw holes.
Refer to
c. Using a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver, tighten the front mounting screws securing
the terminal server chassis to the mounting plate.
4. From the back of the rack (
a. Using a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver, tighten the rear mounting screws securing
the terminal server back mounting brackets to the mounting plate.
