Your treadmill uses a high-effi cient, low-friction, hard waxed deck and maintenance free belt. For optimal performance, TRUE recommends a 15 minute break in period to help transfer the wax from the deck to the belt. On a brand new unit, ensuring the wax has been adequately worked into the belt helps alleviate alignment and tension issues.
