What's Included

Multifunction Acoustic Calibrator Type 4226 includes the following accessories:
• UA-0915: Coupler
• UA-1231: ½" Microphone Adapter
• DP-0781: ¼"Microphone Adapter
• AO-0481: Mini-jack to BNC Cable (1.5 m)
• 4 × QB-0013: Alkaline Batteries (IEC LR6)
2.1.1 Using the Coupler
Type 4226 and Coupler UA-0915 are supplied as a matched pair in that they are factory-adjusted
to provide a constant sound pressure when the coupler is loaded by a Brüel & Kjær Type 4180
microphone. The same serial number appears on both items to help ensure that they are always
used together as a matched pair.

The individual items are not interchangeable. To achieve the desired affect, only use

2.1.2 Using the Adapters
• UA-1231: For checking ½" microphones
• DB-0781: For checking ¼" microphones
1" microphones cannot be checked with the Type 4226.
