Inserting a microphone
To insert a microphone into the coupler and Adapter UA-1231 (Fig.3.2):
1) Turn the adapter in an anti-clockwise direction until the stop point is reached (approx. 340°
back from its fully tightened position).
2) Insert the microphone. Make sure it reaches the stop ring of the adapter.
3) Lock the microphone in place by tightening the adapter (turn it approximately ¼ to ¾ of a
of a revolution in a clockwise direction.

Removing UA-1231 Completely from the Coupler
1) Turn the adapter in an anti-clockwise direction until the stop point is reached (approx. 340°
back from its fully tightened position).
2) Continue turning the adapter in an anti-clockwise direction past the stop point (more finger
pressure is required to go past this stop point).
Loosen adapter until
Insert microphone until
it reaches stop point
it reaches the stop ring
(~ 340°)
